01 Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly and information generated automatically when you use Chaos Studio.
Information you provide:
- Account data: Name, email address, and password when you create an account.
- Order & shipping data: Full name, delivery address, phone number, and order details when you place an order.
- Payment data: Processed securely by Cashfree Payments — we do not store card numbers or banking credentials on our servers.
- Communications: Messages or emails you send to our support team.
- AI design prompts: Text you enter into the AI Studio to generate designs (see Section 3).
Information collected automatically:
- Usage data: Pages visited, time spent, clicks, and navigation paths.
- Device & browser info: IP address, browser type, operating system, and screen resolution.
- Cookies: Small text files stored in your browser (see Section 4).
Plain English: We collect your name, email, address, and order details to fulfill your purchase. We also collect basic usage analytics to improve the website.

03 AI-Generated Prompts & Designs
When you use our AI Studio to describe and generate designs, the text you enter ("prompts") is processed to create garment artwork.
- Prompts are sent to our AI image generation service (Google Gemini / Imagen) via a secure API. Your prompt text may be processed by Google's systems subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- We do not store your raw prompts associated with your personal identity unless you save a design or place an order.
- Designs you save or order become linked to your account and are stored in our database.
- Chaos Studio applies content filters to prevent harmful prompt content. These filters may log blocked attempts for safety review — no personal data is attached to these logs.
- We may use anonymised, aggregated prompt patterns (never personally identifiable) to improve our AI quality and content safety systems.
Note: Do not include personal information (e.g., real names, addresses, phone numbers) in your AI design prompts.
04 Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve Chaos Studio.

Your cart data is stored in your browser's localStorage. This stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless you place an order.
You can disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent checkout and account features from working correctly.
05 Payment & Security
All payments on Chaos Studio are processed by Cashfree Payments, a PCI-DSS-compliant payment gateway. We operate as follows:
- We never see your card details. Card numbers, CVV codes, and net-banking credentials are entered directly into Cashfree's secure environment — they never touch our servers.
- Once payment is confirmed, Cashfree notifies us with an order reference and payment status only.
- Your email and name are shared with Cashfree for payment verification and dispute resolution.
- Order amounts and transaction IDs are stored in our Firestore database for order management.
Security: Our database (Google Firestore) is secured with role-based access rules. Passwords are hashed by Firebase Authentication. We use HTTPS for all data in transit.
Cashfree's privacy practices are governed by their Privacy Policy.
06 Sharing Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. We share data only in these limited circumstances:
- Print & fulfilment partners: Your name, shipping address, and design details are shared with our print-on-demand manufacturing partner to produce and ship your order.
- Payment processor: Name and email shared with Cashfree for transaction processing (see Section 5).
- Logistics / courier: Shipping address and phone number shared with the courier partner for delivery.
- AI service providers: Prompt text is processed by Google's AI APIs (see Section 3). No personal account data is attached.
- Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Chaos Studio or others.
- Business transfer: In the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred as a business asset. You will be notified before your data is governed by a different privacy policy.
No data brokers. No advertising networks. No third-party trackers. We don't run third-party ad tracking on our platform.
07 Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services and comply with legal obligations.

09 Children's Privacy
Chaos Studio is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at privacy@chaosstudio.com. We will promptly delete any such information.
Users between the ages of 13 and 18 should use Chaos Studio only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
10 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will:

- Send a notification email to registered users (for significant changes).
